This is my go to spot for carne asada fries. They load so much into the plate that it lasts me 2+ meals every time. I love how they also layer cheese in the middle of the fries so you always have enough while you're eating. The service here is always super quick. I call in my order 10 minutes before and it's always ready when I get there. There's plenty of seating around if you want to eat there and there's a sauce bar next to the counter. I'd definitely recommend trying some out.

Came here for The Cali burrito, and I was not disappointed. The tender carne asada, creamy guacamole, sour cream with fries really hit the spot! The amount of guacamole they give you is really generous compared to other places. For $13, it can't get any better than this. They also have a small salsa bar set up, which I would recommend the green sauce to accommodate every bite of your burrito. The Cali sauce in my opinion, was too strong for my taste but nevertheless it was still good. The staff were really friendly and efficient, as well as the atmosphere being inviting and clean.

Cali Tacos is located on a small corner lot in Orange. It started in San Diego, moved north, and now has multiple locations across Southern California. This location in Santa Ana is in a plaza with a small parking lot and has both indoor and outdoor seating. SUPREME FRIES ($15.99) - I got this without beans and with carne asada (+$0.65). There were large portions of meat and the other stuff on top that I had to dig through it to find the layer of fries on the bottom. I liked that the pico cut through the heaviness of the other toppings. 4.5/5 THE CALI ($12.25) - this is their California burrito and I got it with al pastor. It was a good burrito although the oil from the al pastor eventually leaked through the tortilla and got all over the exterior. 4/5 They have a sauce station that has their green and red sauces, and when they give you your order they also give you their Cali sauce. I've always heard the California burrito is one of the best in OC and both of what I got were pretty good.

I came in and ordered the Cali Burrito. It came out pretty fast and was DELICIOUS!!! I really enjoy eating this burrito especially with the Cali sauce, it's BUSSINNNNN!! The service was good, employees were friendly and helpful. In addition to this the restroom had a BIDET!! I didn't use it LOL, but I thought that was pretty cool that the owner cares about the customers experience here at Cali Taco. 5 STARSS!!!!!

Great food!!! Need to fix your prices or update. They are all different on website, yelp and grub hub. Thank you!:)

Finally getting around to writing this review after being a regular at Cali Tacos for ages. Despite the price hikes, their flavors have stayed top-notch and keeps me coming back. Sure, sometimes you might have to wait a bit in line, but trust me, it's always worth. Shoutout to Gilbert too! Always on the go, taking orders, packing them up, and making sure everything runs smoothly. A multitasking pro! Btw, look at the attached pic of the Angel Fries, absolutely stunning and heart clogging

Haven't eaten here in awhile but good to see prices are still cheap and quality still high. Food is still tasty as heck! Can't beat these prices!

Stopped by to get some takeout after not visiting for a while. I was glad to see the prices have been the same for about 10 months. I decided to get 12 rolled tacos which are $14.99 before tax. Cali burrito holding steady at $12.25. You can't go wrong with these crunchy, cheesy, guacamole covered rolls of shredded beef goodness. I typically always get a dozen rolled tacos since five just isn't enough but getting a dozen usually means I have about 4 leftover for the next day. The rolled tacos are a good portion with plenty of cheese and guacamole and have a great crunch. Remember to ask for their signature Cali sauce because it really is make or break for a meal. The cali sauce is incredible and while their is a self serve salsa bar with a green and red salsa, the cali sauce blows those two out of the water. I think the cali burrito is still the top menu item but rolled tacos are a close second for me. Service was good, it was pretty busy when I got in line but my food was ready in a reasonable 10-15 minutes. While I don't mind dining in here, I typically prefer to eat this at home considering how messy it can get when I get the sauces going. I'm glad to see the quality hasn't dropped off. I will be back when I've recovered from the inevitable food coma that occurs after a dense meal.

The drive was absolutely terrible because every street is busy and there are so many turns to get to this little shop. I made my phone order 20 minutes prior to make sure I can just pick up my meal. The Cali Burrito isn't $6.99. I'm not sure why the other reviews say it's only $7. We were charged $13 for the burrito so don't be misinformed. When it comes to the actual food I think it was pretty tasty! Not too overly seasoned. The cali burrito is massive and the size of a forearm. I split it in half and ate it over the course of two days. Underrated: The chipotle sauce!!!! Add this to your food. It's so good!!

MASSIVE BURRITOS! You'll see Cali Tacos posted all over social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc). They are known for their enormously large burritos! I'm talking the size of your arm! If you have a big appetite, this is your place. The prices are extremely fair for the portion sizes. If you are on a diet or watching your figure, you may want to skip this place lol Or share something with someone. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and added guacamole, rice, pico and fries. It was delicious!!!! I couldn't eat the entire thing. But I wanted to because it was so bomb lol
